Actor Channing Tatum certainly knows how to work his magic on the big screen.

In recent celebrity news, the “Magic Mike” star has revealed that there is definitely a “Magic Mike 2” in the works. According to “Daily Mail” this Wednesday, Tatum revealed that he has already started working on a second film in the male stripper franchise.

While its content could certainly be seen as controversial, “Magic Mike”—despite being seen by some at first as simply an eye candy film about male strippers—proved that some real heart lies beneath the muscle. Critics praised the film for its depth and positive messages, and the film was a financial success at the box office.

Now, the “Daily Mail” reports this week that Channing Tatum is already set on filming a “Magic Mike 2” for his female fans. In a recent interview with the U.K. magazine, “Glamour,” the actor, 32, let on that his team of producers—of which he is part—is now working on a script for the second movie.

Channing Tatum is coming under fire from his former male stripper colleagues who claim he's ripping off their stories and expertise for his semi-autobiographical film, "Magic Mike." Two dancers, Thomas "Awesome" Austin and London Steele, have taken to YouTube to air their grievances. "[Tatum] looks like 'the man' now, but trust me, he wasn't 'the man' then," Austin says. "He was 18 years old and wore white athletics socks on stage." Aside from taking credit for moves they created, Austin also claims Tatum based a character in the film on him. "Matthew McConaughey dressed up as a cowboy? Anyone who knows anything about male dancing knows that that character is me," he says.
