(NewsCore) - PETA's porn site is now accepting sign-ups and is expected to launch in the near future.
"We're not quite ready to reveal PETA.XXX yet, but we promise that when we do, there will definitely be a real happy ending," the site reads.
The splash page displays a signup for those interested in getting the news when the site officially launches.
The animal rights organization is known for using edgy marketing strategies to spread its messages. The organization made the announcement last summer that it planned to reserve one of the new .xxx domain extensions.
It said the intention for the domain PETA.XXX was to create a "pornography site that draws attention to the plight of animals."

INDIANAPOLIS – Can you imagine a strip club that closes at midnight, isn’t allowed to sell alcohol and prohibits strippers from giving a lap dance?
Two northeast Indiana lawmakers can. That’s why Sens. Jim Banks, R-Columbia City, and Dennis Kruse, R-Auburn, filed Senate Bill 183 to further regulate these clubs and other sexually oriented businesses.
It’s just one of several interesting measures being pushed by area legislators during the 2012 session. “There is a proliferation of crime at these institutions,” Banks said. “Strip clubs are often the first entry into human trafficking.” The bill has not yet been scheduled for a hearing. Banks has also filed companion bills to allow guns to be carried on college campuses and some state properties. “I don’t intend to scare people. We are talking about responsible gun owners who have a permit to carry a gun,” he said. “I think it’s worth the debate.”
WeConsent says: We would like the claim that stripping often the first entry into human trafficking backed up with a citation of evidence.
